Ligging:<\/strong> Het ligt in het Tarangire Valley<\/strong> en maakt deel uit van de natuurlijke migratieroute<\/strong> van wilde dieren tussen de Ngorongoro Crater<\/strong> en\n de Serengeti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Olifanten:<\/strong> Tarangire is beroemd om zijn grote populatie olifanten<\/strong>. Het park herbergt een van de grootste concentraties van olifanten in Tanzania, en tijdens het droge seizoen zie je vaak\n grote kuddes die zich rondom de rivier verzamelen.<\/p>\n

Big Five:<\/strong> Hoewel het park niet zo bekend is als bijvoorbeeld Serengeti<\/strong> of Ngorongoro<\/strong>, biedt het nog steeds uitstekende mogelijkheden om de Big Five<\/strong> (olifant,\n leeuw, luipaard, buffel en neushoorn) te spotten. Leeuwen en luipaarden worden vaak gezien in de open vlaktes en langs de bomen.<\/p>\n

Giraffen en zebra\u2019s:<\/strong> Tarangire is ook een geweldige plek om giraffen<\/strong>, zebra\u2019s<\/strong>, gazelles<\/strong> en gemsbokken<\/strong> te zien,\n vooral rond de rivieren en waterpoelen.<\/p>\n

Vogels:<\/strong> Het park is een paradijs voor vogelliefhebbers, met meer dan 500 vogelsoorten<\/strong>, waaronder de beroemde secretarisvogel<\/strong> en de migrerende zwaluwen<\/strong> die\n het park in grote aantallen bezoeken.<\/p>\n
